We’re born. Then we die. In between is life. the space inked between is just about that—life, our shared sensitivities, a rumination on the beauty in the mundane, or anything that influenced me at the time, be it books, essays, or podcasts. We connect the stars and call them constellations; here are some of mine:
Changes and Beginnings – a glimpse into the hurdles I went through that inspired my creation of this space (previously Angel’s Letters)
I guess there is some kind of strength within us that we should begin to recognize, with or without someone else's affirmations. If there is anything, this strength led me to believe that I can always start over whenever I want to, anew in whatever ways I decide on taking. To begin this change, I have to end my fears.
The Things We Say – (and the ones we don’t) to ourselves, the people we love, and the world. A Love Letter Prelude to February
If the world demands our attention, I want to exude it. I want to see things in a different light and see them even when I close my eyes. Be there for beauty. Be there for grace. If to be present and attentive is to love then I want the world to teach me.
Love for the nth time – on keeping the love in motion despite the horrible events that seem to overshadow it
Even if the world is at least half-terrible like Maggie Smith said, I believe when she added we could make this place beautiful. The simplest gesture of rotating a mug so the handle faces you as you reach for it amounts to something, doesn’t it? That by the end of the day the accumulation of these actions would make the terrible parts reduced to at least a quarter.
This space is my labor of love as a working artist. Consider supporting my work by clicking the link below. I aim to make this newsletter something I can do more regularly and your support can make this possible. And always, keep the love in motion.
Thank you and happy reading!
